Re-imagining the Post-Covid Law Firm

Pre-COVID, many lawyers believed that an elegant office downtown near the courthouse and populated by all lawyers and staff was a critical business need. Post-COVID, law firm leaders are questioning whether more flexible work locations, work schedules, and staffing models can be just as effective. What would it take to operate differently?

 In this session, we’ll discuss how the long-term impact of COVID on law firm operations, with a particular emphasis on the changes that are likely to endure long past the end of the pandemic, and possibly permanently. We’ll review how these changes could improve law firm financials, operations, productivity, morale, and competitive positioning of law firms. We’ll also discuss how law firm leaders are weighing the relative benefits of these new ways of doing business.
